NORD VISION

* We have received reports that Chemical/Products Tanker, NORD VISION experienced an engine failure whilst in a position approximately 280 nautical miles northeast of Port Douglas, Australia on 18 July 2023.

* The vessel is reportedly unable to complete its intended voyage as a consequence of the engine failure and a tug has been deployed to take the vessel under tow to a place of safety.

* It is possible that General Average, Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
